Thanks everyody-that makes sense. I bought another electric heater but I think propane will stil be a lot warmer and cheaper in the long run. or I may have to run both-babies gotta stay warm!!!! (little babies are kept in the spare bedroom-bigger babies have the 3rd part of the garage). Coop people called-not coming on Halloween now-wed 11/3 instead. its ok I'm in no hurry. Just want to separate the free ranges before winter and mating and stuff.....

fire department will also give great advice

yup-thats why i want to hire it out-but who do I call. I know if it's an electric line i call an electrician but who do i call for propane??

the company who fills your tank should be able to help run a line, or recommend someone who's certified to setup new lines for propane distribution. I don't think it's a plumber or electrician, it would need to be someone who specializes in gas.
