EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

We have a nursery, we just need to call in our painter and get the crib! I'll have pictures and things probably. As for weeding, I have a little scooter that I can sit on like those ones they use in gym class. XD

Hippy I need help with my goat soaps.... I am trying to figure out the SF stuff and what to add later and if I add that in the % for lye cALCULATIONS. I AM GETTING ANNOYED BECAUSE I am watching youtube vids after vids and reading and I everyone is confusing me!!!

I just want a good Olive oil, Almond oil, Beef Tallow, Castor Oil recipe to use as a base formula. I don't have shea yet because I don't get all that SF stuff or what to purchase! I am in a EO group on FB and learning a lot on there and its nice the websites tell you what percent to use. so I may have that part sorta!! @hippiestink HELP!!!!

well its too late for that, its been in there a day.

the first batch mad 30Lbs plus,
I realized I don't have ziplocks.
so I used wrap for now and put in fridge.
I am terrible nauseous from the smell I must admit. so much I took a Zofran, I think having the grease in the air so long and now cutting it and working with it did me in. I was going to clean the walls and cabinets cause when I spilled it hot it splattered all over the place, now its stuck like candle wax everywhere. can I just get a kitchen redo ughhh not sure this is work me doing if Imma get so sick.

Good luck, and get a buck. or doe whatever fits in the freezer works. No trophy hunters here, only meat eaters.

Dear Sally.
1. You need to do it OUTSIDE cook it on open fire and use Aluminum trays. No need to clean after!
2. Don't use knife! Use one of this!

You need help in calculating percentage?

I put some eggs in the inucbator for my daughter - while I was gone/sick(was in the hospital over night type of a deal) someone changed the temp thing on the incubator and made the eggs cold, I *just* stuck them in there, so I'm hoping they'll still develop now that I'm home and fixed it.
They were cold for about 3 days in the incubator :( I had them stored for a week prior too, before going in there because I had to collect enough eggs from the right chicken(s) to have enough since they are barely laying.

Still have a chance the eggs will survive or should I start over?

Eggs that go cold in the first couple of days will suspend. When you start up incubating they will continue as normal.

They will hatch early though depending how long they incubated before going cold.

It is Tricky!
