Hi Yo Silver, Away!!!

I remember when my mother was told about the terrible thing when Tonto died. She said, "I'm sure they have other horses trained to do that stuff".

ocap and whites should get that joke.

I have a "technical" question. We have propane here and I bought a propane garage heater for the seramas and chicks this winter. There is no existing line to the garage that I know of. The dryer is near that wall. Does anybody know who i call to get it safely hooked up and running and how much they think it might cost?
Cost depends on the complexity of the job. A pipefitter or the propane supplier should be able to do it.
If you have a leak, propane flows downhill.
I worked with propane for about 4 years at my long term employer. Everyone hated the job because it was pretty dangerous. Our propane farm was 10 huge tanks that covered about an acre and I was responsible for it. All plant vehicles other than electric carts ran on propane so we used it year round. But we had a deal with the gas company for a lower price on natural gas if we wouldn't use any during periods of high demand. That was usually when temps would get down to 0F and lower for any length of time. They'd call and we'd have an hour to switch over the whole place to propane. That was heat for the entire plant and burners for all the paint ovens and air makeup houses that fed paint booths. That was millions of cubic feet of air. It was a hassle. Normally lots of the burners would go out if we didn't do it just right. If burners went out in paint ovens we'd sag the paint on every vehicle in the booths. That would be a few hundred cars, vans or trucks that had to have the paint stripped down and be repainted.
Monthly PM had to be done on the switching house. Just the PM was dangerous.
I'd call my propane supplier. If they don't do it, they sure ought to be able to tell you who does.
X2

I wish!!

'Cept this is the neighbor that thinks grass is a chicken dewormer and has two bulls in electric wire fencing

They get out.

If a bull decides he wants out, no fence in the world is going to keep him in. If he can't go over it, he'll go thru it. Normally, though, unless something or someone scares him or angers him, a well made electric fence with a few thousand volts on it will keep him contained. If he smells a cow in heat all bets are off...just don't get in his way.
