Let me see if I can 'splain it.

After you post, half of the page shows what was on the page you were reading. Half shows posts before and after the one you just did. To continue reading on the page you were on, go down to the bottom and tap "7930" or whichever you're on, indicated by the brown shading on the box.

That will refresh the CORRECT page and set you right back where you had read up to.

Or you could hit multiquote and then just reply when you get to the end.

I have enough places I'm keeping up on that I just go to subscriptions and read other threads as a refresh. By the time I click back here new posts have loaded nicely.

I am thinking you should rant about this for a while and see if it changes...

The one that gets me is when you refresh and it takes you to the next page and you lose 2-3 on the last page...

yes I dont freaking get it at all!!!! the backyard herds forum WASNT like this!!! and I thought its the same type!!! someone set it up to do it this way and it sucks. Should I start an annoying thread for "Petition to get thread commenting back the way it was on the old BYC, POSTS go at the end!!"

That's the beauty of driving a p/u truck. When the floor boards get so full that chit falls out whenever you open a door, and you can't see where you're going for all the stuff on the dash, you can just toss it all in the bed & let it all blow out as you drive...end of problem.

I am so freaking confused as to how this forum thread posting works, its really annoying the bleep out of meeeee!!!! I refresh and STILL miss posts?

Can someone PLEASE tell me exactly what happens to my location in the thread AFTER I respond to a someone? I keep going down, see my own posts click on the new page and read stuff I havent read yet!!!!! wtheck is going on and why the bleep doesnt it just post a post were it is current in the article!!!!!

why and who set this up this way? dang take that away and post my post at the freaking end please!!!!

I know the feeling. For some unknown reason, after I post something I don't get sent back to where it should be, like it used to; I have to manually backtrack to where I left off. A super PITA!

Could you explain this to the WWD? She complains my truck is a pigsty and not fit for a human... I happen to like all my important stuff and garbage sharing a space together...

They ARE at the end. You just don't see it that way until you refresh by clicking on the bottom page number.

I like it this way because it doesn't just yank you to the front. It leaves you with the option of clicking the page number to go back.
