He needs to be on it daily, the pediatrician said that it wont work sporadically, it needs given once daily to keep the allergies at bay during the seasons.

Hey, Kid :hugs
This showed up while I was in the blind. I had to come inside where I could post; major PITA.
Anyway, I don't know how far off the deck that bucket hook is, but a word to the wise:
Goats aren't necessarily the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree, and could easily get that hook between the neck & the collar (assuming they're wearing them), and possibly strangle themselves. I had it happen more than once that a goat ran a root or stob sticking up where a sapling had been taken out. Also lost one when she wrapped herself around a young tree that I didn't think she could reach (she was staked out). I'd watched her earlier wrap the rope around the tree, then reverse direction to unwind herself, so I didn't worry about it. Went down later to feed/water her, and there she laid dead, wrapped so tight she couldn't breathe.

@Farmer Connie This next year I will have to be very careful to cull on butt angle. I then check shoulders body capacity, pelvic area, legs, etc. Then a second look at first freshening when I can get the udder judged. I will be doing linear appraisal this next spring to help me a lot I hope.
Awesome blossom.. We would have our mobile Vet do an inspection of our Nannies. She is also a Goat owner/breeder and very experienced with our breed.
Her rates are pretty reasonable and we trust her judgment. We have only lost one nanny thru the years due to kidding complications.
Not too many people around here breed selected stock. Our neighboring farmer lets all the stock run together and has so many mishaps and fatalities.
Glad you've established a program.
Have seen a goat born without eyes and only live 2 hours? I have, next door to us.. I wanted to kick the owner in the jimmies.

Soap favors for our maternity nurses have gelled and are now setting before unmolding and curing. Peppermint scented and superfatted to 5% to offset the coconut oil used in the batter. We'll also have candy for the nurses in addition to the little soaps!
