I’m going to put some freeze protection up today. Replacing all the old stuff. Guy with the backhoe has been working next door so either today or next week will be my turn for the pond.
May put more chickens in camp fridge today depending on how other things on the list go.

Sunday is usually Tractor Supply and groceries.
We're supposed to warm up a bit, so hopefully no more frozen waterers in the morning for at least a few days.

Thanks for the reminder I’ve got to buy more feed myself. I usually do that Friday night on way home. But last Friday was too busy.

Finally warming up here. Just made up my first batch of fermented feed. I added a tsp of yogurt. We’ll see! My little flock “free ranges” I say that because it’s my back yard in an urban neighborhood. But they love it and I can always see them.

My mom literally cried when it went from .25 cents to .29 cents. .5 cents bought a real large candy bar and it was larger than the extra big bars nowadays.

I paid 19 cents a gallon during a gas war....

Both stations had that price. Mike's or Walt's, they were constantly at war with each other. The town was not big enough for 2 stations.
