EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Hey everyone! It's the first time I've been able to get on the forum since coming home Wednesday. We've been having a few issues with breastfeeding, but we've hired a midwife who is a board certified lactation consultant and she's been utterly fantastic. He's eating and sleeping pretty well, and my milk is in now so I'm just really waiting for the adjustment period where the baby and I get into a rhythm that works for both of us.

That is good news!

78s were very old. They dated back to 1898 and went into the 1950s. If you have any of them they might be work some cash!

We use to use them as a Frisbee in the 70s. They flew well and shattered on impact. It makes me shudder when I realize how much money we wasted that way...

Do you remember when the "rage" was to put them over a glass oven wear bowl and hit them so they melted and made popcorn bowls?........

The cheaper 8 track that I could afford would be playing a song.,,then I would get the click as it stopped playing and switched tracks, then the song would start in again...Made no diff whether mid sentence or word....
Our 8 tracks wait until the end of the song I think. :clap
My first 8 track was Elvis Presley.:wee

The good ones did..I bought the cheap ones, as I was POOR kid... I am not sure they were legal even. Maybe a recording of a recording.. Primitive napster..
I got mine at a house sale when I was about 14-15 when everyone was getting CDs. You're not the only POOR kid. This stereo was our house stereo hooked to our tv for surround sound as well, up until 2012 I think. The tv died. I imagine the 8 track will still fire up. It's currently resting.
