I have to say... I keep the environment clean, use gloves etc but I’ve never cleaned anything off my hatching eggs! I suppose I should get any nasties off. What is the safest way?

I usually don't clean my eggs, because I normally hatch eggs from my chickens so I can just choose the clean ones. Sally and I experimented sending each other eggs cleaning with Wipe 'N Wash egg cleansing towelettes from TSC, those didn't seem to negatively impact hatch.

Spit on the egg and use your jacket cuff to shine it.
