Ah huh. So one benefit to a using a Hatcher would be that you wouldn't have to raise humidity in you incubator for ready to hatch eggs and risk hurting not ready eggs. I think I got it now.

Bingo!! Plus, hatching eggs are messy, they'll get smut all over the incubator if you hatch in there.

You need to open them,,,remove eggs and close it...the incubator can be opened ....if you are wearing gloves and stuff....I just don't candle...I do open for a sniff test once in a while.

Well my thoughts were if I get a new incubator. . store bought. .
Then maybe I could use the foam cooler to make myself a Hatcher that way when it gets too disgusting to wanna clean anymore I can just throw out the cooler and re use all the parts to make a new one.
My parents order those Omaha steak several times a year and they ship in really sturdy foam coolers.
