Good deal, I think she meant for you to hear it, and was checking to see if your hearing was 20/20 or not....

So...you're rapping now? If I'm to go by your sig line.
I'm not sure if you'll get street cred...or a trip to the asylum.
Should be an adventure either way. I'm down to watch the fun.:pop

Oh that's rotten :( I'm guessingthe infection wasn't mastitis? I hope you can get your milk supply back up. Lactose intolerance in infants is so rare! I'm sorry you two are going through this. :hugs Hope it all works out and you get some well deserved rest!

According to the doctor it could be that or just something in the normal formula irritates his gut. He's doing a ton better now! I went against my better judgement and didn't stock up on pineapple juice (which a lot of moms swear by for preventing infections and mastitis) and I figured out that two of the four nursing bras I rotate through were causing pressure on the ducts under my arms which may be the source of the infection. I've gotten rid of those two bras, started drinking the pineapple juice in addition to the lactation tea, and started forcing myself to get out of bed and eat instead of sleeping through mealtimes and the supply is slowly returning.

Shoutout to the awesome husbands out there whose wives go through what I'm going through and they patiently buy the medicines and foods for the milk supply, feed the baby formula while mom get some rest/pumps some milk, and in general are a huge help in every way!

We've come up with a stop-gap schedule for Honeybee, which is designed to give me a chance to build up a small stash of milk. It's working out alright so far, I have maybe eight or ten ounces in the fridge now. I've radically changed my diet to the kind used by those moms who do the power pumping and have noticed my supply slowly creeping back up. As well, the midwife gave me great tips for helping to rid my breasts of the infection which are also helping. Hopefully this time next week it'll all be behind us! :fl
