I cleaned up my bathroom, like with a fine tooth comb, and even bleached the edges of the shower to make sure the red ring that always seems to collect around the edges of the metal shower parts, was gone.
My husband didn't even notice. I asked him if he could tell what I did today, and he said "you were playing outside when I got home from work and you didn't get that chicken wire up on the duck pen......"

Quote: Hi Whites, sorry about your hen.
Sorry to hear your hurting and that motor is giving you troubles.Good morning to all.
Still working on that Jeep motor swap.... Not going very smooth though i must admit. The motor being locked up means i cannot unbolt the torque converter and i maybe a stripped bolt head in the top of the Bell housing.
My body hurts so bad i can't hardly stand it..... I remember why i retired now.
I would, but I typically don't assist. If it's breathing and not crying and not struggling I should leave it RIGHT?!? I need to sit on my hands.
Quote: Thanks. My good layers historically live about three years, and she was pushing it.
My hatchery layers tended to die at two years, a lot of them the same day.![]()
does that mean you cull them?![]()

It finally crept up to a new record of 86 yesterday. Was in the mid-low 40's the other night...all 3 windows wide open, sleeping under 2 quilts. I sure hated to roll out in the morning.
Gotta love geckos.we experienced a termite swarm in Guam, a gecko was eating all it could but alas it could not keep up with the thousands that were leaving one spot for another
I like it. It's better than a lot of the real ones I saw this year.
Someone took my pears and it had to be a two footed someone. It is likely my new neighbor. That is the only thing that has changed on the dead end Lane for years.
I'm a nurse and I didn't know what it was either! Apparently its very rare and happens when you sustain an injury, have surgery or have immobility like a brace or cast. No easy way to describe it but your sympathetic nervous system attacks the area and causes a mess of problems. No real diagnostic testing or treatment but better results if detected early. I'm pretty good with pain but this swelling and deformity are making it hard to do anything and when its not resting and elevated its 10x worseSorry Mel,I'm not certain what RSD is. I'm really sorry. I can imagine how hard that must be for someone as active as you.I'm a nurse and I didn't know what it was either! Sorry about your injury, @meltel .I had nerve damage in my hand, I smacked my hand into a wall when I was a kid, it took it years to heal enough for me to have any kind of hand strength in it (and it's why milking a goat is hard for me, with this hand.)When I woke up, my right hand was numb - that happens after a hard day of yard work (carpel tunnel issues). I sometimes have to wear a brace at night. But, miraculously, my shoulder is fine after yesterday.![]()
Finally finished with the dilly beans. I really should head outside and start digging right now. I DON'T WANT TO. I think I'll make another cup of coffee...![]()

When I was mowing for the public, and spent a lot of time using a weed whacker, my right hand ( the one right at the engine) would shake like a leaf in a wind storm for an hour or so after I got home. DW always knew when it'd been a heavy weed whacker day; it was all I could do to get the food to my mouth before it vibrated off the spoon.
