EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

We have had more than our share. I hope when my wish was granted, it didn't go directly to you..View attachment 1207792
We've had some flooding this year, but nothing like you've had.

Doesn't everyone complain about the weather? It must be America's favorite pastime. Complain that it's too cold, complain that it's too hot.
I never complain about the heat. I love it!

I tried to take a picture of my guppies to show y'all what I've been doing with my time, but it turns out my 30 gig memory card is screwed up. It won't save the pictures or let me post the ones that are still on the card. :hmm

Morning everyone. Honeybee's condition has improved tremendously and when the pediatrician comes by I have no doubt we'll be going home.

Meanwhile I'm officially weaning him off breastmilk for a number of reasons, and I think that our family will be much happier and healthier for it. We had a good run, but ultimately it wasn't something that worked for us. Maybe next time with kid #2 it'll be better!

Chickens are doing good now that there's only five. Duchess has been gone so long we have basically written her off. When we move in to the new house I'm looking into getting rid of our current roo for a maran or a blue egg roo. We're also going to get a couple blue egg hens. I miss unexpectedly bright colors in my egg basket.

I used to keep fancy guppies; half blacks, specifically. I wanted to develop a strain of solid blacks, but was talked out of it. My aquarium shop owner told me that the solid black would be cancerous, plus it would take a lifetime and a whole lot of money.

Great news about your little rug rat. Hope everything runs according to plan from here on out.
