EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

So basically it is more a question of training ( of both the horse and rider) and equipment , then the breed.
No many of the breeds especially those Ken mentioned are born moving that way. While conditioning helps they are born with it though some are better than others like human runners. My breed are called the champagne horse for a reason. :frow

You are thinking about it!

Good job!
I am! :D
Don't you hate it when buyers think you must be some sort of moronic idiot (and think they are so smart).
Presumably your add states the price you are selling them for.
I once had some idiot want 20 cream Legbar pullets for $5 each.
Another person purchased 30 4 week old chicks for $5 each, and did not pick them up till they were 17 weeks old due to "moving house" and then complained that half were boys. This person is on BYC as well!!
I am older and wiser now...
A couple of years ago I had someone claim that the Andalusian pullets I had sold them were roosters because they both had spurs. I made sure they were both laying before I sold them, so imagine the buyer's surprise when the girls finally started laying for them.

Her first goat kids are due around January 7th.
That's going to be rough with the cold. I have a Boer due too. The rest start in mid February. She just went in with the buck early because she didn't breed last year. I think it was the fact that my buck was very young, and this is a big dominant doe. She is as big as he is as a year and a half old buck.
