Chicken math! I am super fond of my EE - I don't find them flighty like the polish. My cochins tolerate being held if you catch them, but they aren't necessarily super cuddly birds.
I wouldn't mind having just 1 or 2 birds that like to cuddle, but none seem overly interested in being held. They like treats, and they talk to you and follow you around, and none of our birds are mean or attack us or peck us. I guess they respect us, but don't think we are the bees knees when it comes to love????????????
My daughter's still kind of butt hurt that none of the chickens in particular seem overly attached to us - although my little gray hen, astrid lets me get close enough to pick her up and pet her sometimes. She tolerates it, but doesn't seem overjoyed by it. LOL
Quote: I like it when they give me my space. The HRIR I had were huge and friendly.
We feed at night, in order to get them into their coops with out a battle. We free-range during the daytime. They are little piggies though. I don't think I really NEED to feed them as much as I do. I think my birds might be fat.I'm ok they don't follow me. There is one that will remind me to feed the spent grain.
Does the brown chick on the right, have feathered feet?
sooooo good goodnight now see ya tomorrow!!
