I moved eggs to the hatcher yesterday...Frozen winter hatch rates vacuum...I had 176 eggs in incubator only 68 moved to incubator and of those 10-12 are questionable.... I have 11 turkey eggs in, one starter, no finishers......View attachment 1225437

DH is busting his butt splitting wood with his new 12lb maul axe Santa left under the tree.
It is in the low 40's and a colder wind chill and he-man/old man has his shirt off...
So.. being the fun and living person I am, I yell.. "HEY YOU WOODCHUCKS! QUIT CHUCKING MY WOOD!"
I ran before I had wood chucked at me...

You must still have things growing and bugs to find this time of year?

Oh, they get to scratching around & occasionally find a bug or two under the surface, I'd think; 'specially around the wood piles. Mainly, this time of year, it just gives them something to do, relieves boredom, & is generally beneficial.
