Chickens all doing good ----- at least some ----- if not all ------ go outside and meander about.

Just thought you'd like to know:
GlobWarming temp currently 24*, 9* wind chill, & progressively turning white. It's getting warmer, though... this time yesterday it was +9* if I remember correctly.

I don't know how you guys deal with that stuff. Hide indoors from freeze... I am an outside person. This morn, entire property blanket white. 19° at 6:30 am. The pad lock on our gate had to be heated up with a BBQ lighter to melt the iced locked lock. How can I get my chores done wearing the Michelin Man costume? I feel bad for the folks getting hit by the blizzard up the east coast.

Mine meander, as well. Actually, it's more of a waddle, like a guy high-stepping it to the outhouse. I figure if they get cold, they can always go back to the coop.

I feel worse for you folks in the South. We at least have the equipment to handle it; you're kinda behind the 8-ball.

I had a couple that got locked out the other night, luckily I saw them and went back out to open the door for them. Days getting longer I had to change the alarm that reminds me to lock up to a little later time.
