@DwayneNLiz I have put her is some warm water a few times and used a towel to wash some of the goo off. It is starting to fluff up and I saw it pooped just a little bit ago.
It’s still flopping around so I put it in a cup so it will start standing. It’s feet seem fine just not steady on the feet yet.

She looks so much better! I taped her legs and feet with tape. She’s sitting in a cup relaxing in the incubator.

LOL!! @DwayneNLiz I will hopefully have a few SG but this one is from my NN mix pullet and cockerel (2nd pic parents). It hatched with this little fluff! I’m interested to see how if feathers out. It’s grandHen (1st) was sparse on feathers but not quite this sparse. She had little butt feathers and was bare under her wings.

I did the day 7 candling and I wanted to make sure the air cells are the right size.

Humidity was at 20% the first couple days to test out dry method, but then I added water and not it’s been at about 45%. Only 5 show signs of life not great... at all.

Here’s the previously mentioned fast growing chick. When I candled, it was moving around in there like crazy. The others were not moving, but they vein growth looked very good.

Hey there everyone... Just pulled my homemade incubator out after 3 moves a fire and storage and I have exposed wires.. So now i will have to reread all the information and figure out what popped off and fix it. Lol which is fine, i need a good refreshers course anyway.
