Ok. Gotcha. Here if it's breeding stock...I plan on keeping it.The world may never know.
Extra roosters become food, hens just stick around.
To know longevity etc. I always did the same with the sheep.

I know, right? That does sound suspicious.
Crazy. Just about the time I get to feeling sorry for myself....Thank you!![]()
We were supposed to clean the coop that day. I'm still teasing Dh that he was just trying to get out of cleaning it.![]()
It is a week day so work, chores, treating my cut goat, and petting the new buckling tonight. He is really sweet.I'm trying to catch up what I missed here...lol. Chores. And then we're off to rent items from the assisted living store in the city help facilitate my MIL when she gets back home from the hospital. She needs 5-6 things; a walker with two wheels, a raised toilet seat, a safety seat for the bathtub, a pickup tool, a shoehorn and something else I don't remember. We have the papers in the truck...lol. This is so she doesn't have to strain her hip. She's surprised how weak her muscles are after the surgery. That's my day today...lol. Oooh...and I've GOT to get a hatchet. I have some roosters to process.
How about you?
I know, right?
(Don't tell Connie, but I'm not sure she can be trusted.)
There is no enjoyable way to clean a coop. If I'd been you, I'd have put it off too!Crazy. Just about the time I get to feeling sorry for myself....
I was supposed to clean coops last weekend. Just didn’t feel like it. Maybe this weekend.

Exactly my plan on the next coop. It will have tractor access. The last one was supposed to just didn’t work out that way. There is no enjoyable way to clean a coop. If I'd been you, I'd have put it off too!I'm thinking we need to do something bigger where it requires a mechanical cleaning out with a little bobcat, not physical labor. I saw an awesome hoop type coop on Youtube I'd like. I have my roosters in a huge shed, but I feel they require much more sun than I can give them.
I'd like something this...(I think) No ducks though.
