Those chicks are so happy outside! So much to see. So much room to run and fly. I don’t think they slept on the roost last night. I don’t even think they slept in the dog carrier I left out there. It will stay for a while though. Getting covered in poop.
Meanwhile, A.J. (bantam Am) is quite brazen. I can’t figure out if he’s just used to me, or if it’s because he has spring fever. If I’m in the coop, he’s right there. Yesterday I had to work around him when cleaning the pen out for the chicks. I didn’t know he was behind me at one point, and he had a shovelful of dirty bedding thrown at him.
