Hatching fever is in full swing! Polish and bantam Cochins on the way as soon as the seramas and eggers hatch.

I suppose I’ll get out an incubator when I have three eggs, and hope for four by the time I have temps ready. Then I can hope for two pullets to hatch.
I went to tend to the chicks in the coop yesterday. Not sure what happened, but two were dead. Oh well. I didn’t want that many anyway.
I went to fill the adult feeder, and found another bantam egg. Duckling about died not touching it today. I told her it had poop on it to deter her. She wants me to incubate it, but she also wants to hold it, roll it, toss it...
