@Farmer Connie your and I have a similar opinion of Craigslist. I have been contacted by an older couple that say they want to buy the horse but they want me to transport their offering money but they want it on delivery and I am a little cynical for that. When I commented that I would at least like the money they are offering for the transportation fee ahead of time because it's hard to trust anymore. They said that works both ways and they just deal in cash. My thought is that they're asking me to drive a long way and spend my money for somebody I don't know and that's a lot of trust expected from me.

Especially since you don’t know if they even exist at that address. I guess you could google them and their address. I wouldn’t bother. Anyone really into horses would have their own trailer or know of someone that had one.

Follow your heart. If there was a way to get part of the fee first. They haven't physically seen the horse yet right?
