EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Those little feather rats TRICKED me!!!!!!
I am a very very hands on hatcher. Super hands on. I have multiple brooders implemented.
About 5 mins max after said chick pops out of said shell, I swoop in like a hawk, snatch it and get that lid closed faster than Superman could even dream to be that fast.
First they go into the DRYING Brooder. Flooring consists of paper towels and NOT A CROWDED spot. I try to prevent trampling that way, as well as preventing roll overs inside the oven when the early hatches start a bowling match. Then they go into Brooder #2 eventually, after drying off and become more active and rambunctious.
Anyway, with all that said, I am constantly monitoring progression and watching for new "hatch rats".

I watch the unzipping and I know about how it will be until I have to swoop in and snatch the little feathered rat.
Never a dull moment I tell you.

This egg below, I was watching on and off for the last couple hours. Waiting and waiting for the break out.

One of the 2 legged rats shut the door on the shell!
It got glued back together from the goo drying.

When I went to snatch a different one up I bumped this one and it was empty.

They think they are pretty clever pulling a fast one on the chicken farmer. But I'm getting wise to their shenanigans. Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!

I have 4 in the second stage brooder. Moving like clock work. Meh Happy. BTW, today is day 19.

Wow, I'm so upset, I go to update my bank account information for my work account and find out they took all my money for being "inactive" for 4 months (i.e. no activity.) while I was pregnant and recovering from the baby.

I have to call them money and see if they'll return my money, and if they don't, i'll be closing my account with them and making sure people know they do that.
