EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

@Sally Sunshine
I found my candler; about half sorry I did. Out of a dozen, there are 1 or 2 clear, & a couple that don't show any air cell at all, on either end. Danged shells are so thick I can't begin to determine anything, except air cells.
No matter what, you will leave them 21days. I have NEVER had a successfully Marans hatch .

Ain't that the truth!
How you doing over there? You behaving yourself, or do you need a keeper?
I am really trying... but sometimes it pops out...
Today is ouer fallen soldiers Memorial Day, it is always a tough day
For me.
But in a few hours we will enter our wonderful country 70teh independence day, and that is a good reason to celebrate !

DH aired up the tires on his chuck wagon last evening.
Had it loaded up with at least 200+ lbs for the breeder swine. The Air cell (tire) exploded like a cannon! It triple echoed off in the distance and made him about hit the deck. I thought a hunter was shooting at him with a 50 cal. Did you know tire gauges are less expensive as tires and tubes?

The muck tubs are filled to the rim with barley/cooked soy beans-rice/grits and a ton of water. Too much for an over inflated tire.
Shopping for a new tire today.

That looks like a tire on our boat trailer that blew outside of Chi town a few years ago. We knew it was iffy when we left here, but it lasted that far, roughly 800 miles, before it gave up. I sat in the shade of the trailer, alongside the highway, for about 3 hours while DS was running all over the world trying to find a tire & rim, and someone who could/would mount them. Not one Trooper stopped to check things out the entire time; never even saw a cop! Chicago is not my friend; haven't had a good experience there in all the years I've been going through there.
