Finally notified yesterday afternoon that there was a shop near here that didn't have a backlog & could look at my splitter. I took it to him 1st thing this morning, told him what the problem was, & an hour later was on the way home, splitter in tow. As was thought, the hydraulic pump was stuck. All it took was a big screw driver & a BFH. Been splitting wood most of the afternoon; no problems, yet.

The guy from Customer Support emailed me this morning to thank me for my patience. I quickly reminded him that I'd run out of patience long ago

My eggs are on day 14 or so, and the hygrometer reads at an average of 60 %
Is that alright? Too high? I am really worried they may drown if the membrane is to wet.

You know what? While that is a little high, it is not actually insanely high. Some go as high as 55% during the first 18 days. It is all about the air cell. Check it, and you will know how to proceed.
By the way, 35 to 45% is what I believe most of us go by.
