AJ is a rooster ?AJ was attacking Duckling again. Sad since she was standing there, giving him cracked corn. I wasn’t near, so I told her to kick him. Three times, and he didn’t stop. I went down to them, and caught him. She carried him for a minute, but then handed him back so she could play. I carried him about another five minutes before putting him down. Here’s hoping he’s done with his attitude... which might only be happening when she’s giving the treats.

It hatched. The lone egg out of 14 hatched last night.
No visible pips last night before going to bed.
Now I’ll have to get it a buddy as the next part of hatch isn’t due till next Saturday.

How have you been?
I have been better. But, I'm sure things could always be worse. 
That's fantastic that it's working!Finally notified yesterday afternoon that there was a shop near here that didn't have a backlog & could look at my splitter. I took it to him 1st thing this morning, told him what the problem was, & an hour later was on the way home, splitter in tow. As was thought, the hydraulic pump was stuck. All it took was a big screw driver & a BFH. Been splitting wood most of the afternoon; no problems, yet.
The guy from Customer Support emailed me this morning to thank me for my patience. I quickly reminded him that I'd run out of patience long ago

A hermit crab died, and Duckling and I pulled it out of the shell. First a leg fell off, then its eyes... I was kinda grossed out, but it was educational for her.
