If it's not tight enough to pull the corner posts up out of the ground they'll walk it right down, or so I've been told. I couldn't keep mine inside 8,000 volts; the deer broke it down faster than I could build it. I finally just staked them out or let them drag a tire around.
I need a moveable fence. I got the electric net stuff, which is supposed to work well.
I have some of that laying around.
Why movable?
I have an issue with an invasive tree/scrub that goats love, so I want to move their run area around now and then just to keep it in check somewhat. It's a bear to get rid of manually but goats do a pretty good job of it.
O.k., that makes sense. I thought maybe you were concerned about them overgrazing an area; I was going to suggest rotational grazing.
Was at Walmart today, and they had several Black &Decker trimmers. Not a single spool of string for them. I intentionally waited to go to the store to get some rather than ordering it.
