Coop will go at the back left hand side corner of existing garden with the rest of cyclone fencing going up soon.

Yes. Currently I’m moving cyclone fencing with a dolly laid flat and two wheeling it to the spot. Flattened the area out earlier this morning.
Better to use the head than the back. That's why I like my ATV, even if the 4wd doesn't work. If it won't fit on the racks I just put it in the cart, or drag it along behind. I was out yesterday with the drag, trying to work some of the ruts out of the lane from the recent cloudbursts. Just had another one an hour ago.

You were saying cyclone & I was thinking snow; trying to figure out how a snow fence was going to play into the equation. My 1st run is made of re-purposed kennel panels.

That looks like fill dirt, up to the lip of a ravine. That what you're faced with?

A steep hill yes. Fill was from work. There is a ravine a little farther on. Can just get a truck or tractor through there now. What you see is how steep the hill was before fill. The trees are the orchard
I did get some gravel from work as well to fill ruts in road. It’s barely in the picture just past the geraniums.

Looks like you've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest, with a bunch more to do. What's keeping that fill on top, rather than relocating itself to the bottom? Aren't mudslides one of CA's tourist attractions?

Vegetation. Yes the fires around here cause winter mudslides.
I’m hoping I packed it well enough. I did put a drain pipe at the top when it started to wash. That stopped it.
Just noticed your repurposed dog kennel. I mistakenly let my neighbor have it. It was given to me so no great loss I guess. All of the cyclone fence was too bent to use at work so I rebuilt them.
Very busy. Thus the thought of leanto.

Yeah, after 40-odd years of keeping bird dogs, I found myself with 5 kennels, 4x12 chain link. Some had been bent, some repaired, some rusted through, some perfect, galv. steel & aluminum.
