Not mad, just a tad surprised; never had them take this long. Never had any that were hatched as late as May, though, so that may be the answer.

I'm sure. That's why I like fall hatched chicks. They usually kick in right at 20 weeks. Late spring chicks can go 30 weeks or more. Adding light to the coop for those girls will kick start them in a couple weeks.
