Yup. I don’t care. She might have success this time. Might not. Might give her chicks. Being a Muscovy, she isn’t big on swimming, so her tummy is dry. Regardless, I think she can handle it.
A duck can’t incubate non-water fowl eggs, but I’ve had ducks brood chicks before.

You will see in a month. Hope thst you will have some new ducklings.

Yes, it is high carbon, and that is exactly way I have choosen it! No problem with rust I KNOW how to handle my knives. I have an idea about the handle, I have some peacan and I will search for cherry wood, too. I like this new hobby very much, time will tell if I am good in it.

We are still working on the lavender. The others are in a compartment of the coffee table. I open the lid a few times a day to get a whiff, and lower my stress level.

Good morning a day late. Don't worry about the coop; it'll get done when it gets done.
We had rain off & on all day yesterday, but nowhere near the steady, all-day rain that was called for. Didn't break my heart; not one bit. Winds got up overnight, & brought cooler temps. They're talking 50 mph gusts & temp in the 50's today; 40's overnight. Thank you, Michael.
Sad day around here yesterday. I talked to one of your "neighbors"; an old friend who's living around Sacramento; has for many years. He's a whole lot closer to you than I am, so he must be one of your neighbors . His older brother, my best man 53 years ago, as I was his, moved to Raleigh NC long ago. He & his future wife, & I & mine, double-dated a lot, were on the same bowling team for several years (I'd met my now wife in the bowling alley) & we both married within 6 months of one another. I'd emailed him when Florence was raising Hell down that way, to make sure he & his wife were o.k.; hadn't spoken to him, live or email, in a few years. Found out he'd died in November; complications of anuerism surgery. Hit me kinda hard, but I managed to hold it together when I broke the news to DW.

I don’t see any wet spots from this morning‘s rain, but the guy still has not shown back up. He keeps complaining about the way the roof was laid, saying it never should have kept the house dry. He replaces a few nails, and leaves.

lol silly woman, the soap stand and advertising for the shop at HAmburg is done, she is coming today to pick it up and her soaps and salts etc.... I cant wait to see it hanging and in use and hope she makes us some money! oh and I sent a lot to ALASKA for a new shop!! so excited!! soap sign will be hung above the wall soap display.... so fun to make all of it even though I didnt have enough time to find a small old pulley to hang the two small galvanized buckets in the middle of the bottom for products like lip balms etc. And I made a ton of mini paw prints for a Rescue group gathering as favors!! these are not those, but in lav and lemongrass too! so cute.... I didnt have a paw print stamp and I thought the big bars bland so I whittled a paw print... I will be buying one lmao I am NOT the whittler....
