EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Mea culpa on that. I've been crazy busy.
So I've read. Been busier than usual myself, which doesn't take all that much these days. Been trying to get next season's firewood together, & it's been a real PITA trying to keep my favorite saw running. Had to replace the carb a couple weeks ago. Then the chain wouldn't adjust 'cause the tensioning screw is bent (3 new ones ordered from Amazon; won't be here for two weeks...coming direct from China). Took the saw to the local dealer yesterday, who got the chain to adjust, but agreed that the screw is bent, & that he'd also have to order a replacement. Anyway, while the tensioner was working, I came home & tried to cut more wood; saw ran about 20 minutes & quit, several times, on the same gas that it ran fine on 3 days ago. Finally got so frustrated & ticked off that I threw the d****d thing on the ground

The saw's a 3 yr. old Husqvarna, and worked just fine 'til it started giving me periodic problems last year. I have another saw, a Stihl, that works o.k., but it's a lot heavier, & tears my back up even worse than the Husqvarna. I"m trying to replace the :barnieHusqvarna, but haven't found one with decent reviews that I can afford.

Wanna trade?

Rant over; have a super day :)

Ugh, no fun.

NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY
Robert Frost

Nature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf is a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay
I love that poem.

:love
