I think the engine has a block heater on it to make it easier to start in cold weather. So that would plug into an extension cord. Is that a snow blower?

I don't think it's a block heater, but an electric start so you don't have to pull the rope if you don't want to. Both mine have the same thing, but it's quit working on the old one.

Oh yes I do all that and the insurance company checks my work every year. There’s so much more to it at least for me. And when the fire tops out there’s little a person can do.

they have all these stupid environmental rules that make it impossible to even get rid of dead vegetation and keep things back from your house and sits stupid there has to be some sort of balance

it took a while here after the tornado to sort through that to people that got out but didn't know people were looking for them and other people that were there and nobody knew about but of course not on the kind of numbers you're having to deal with their or the amount of space
