I have three varieties just coming into lay. Speckled Sussex, White Cornish and Bielefelders. Bielefelders will be a few months yet.

Light brahmas, BCM, F2 sex link Olive eggers, silkies, giant English orpingtons, Seramas, silkie feathered black/lavender ameraucanas. If only most of them would start laying!

Big storms going on here now and most of the day. It started right after it got light. Didn't have time to get much done before that.
Did you see the pictures of Anthony Hopkins house on the cliff in Malibu? It is about to fall into the sea - thanks to the heavy rains.

Looks like that is going to reach us in a few hours, and rain all night.

Bella (the rabbit that doesn't have a litter of kits) had to go into the vet. She wasn't acting herself. Or so I though. As it turns out she's a hermaphrodite. That explains why she won't let Trip near her.

Seriously ,though. What are the chances that I'd decide I wanted to raise rabbits and end up with a rabbit I can't breed because she's a she AND a he?
