The light eggs are not white, they're actually light blue ones in this this group, but at least I don't have to color eggs for Easter.

So what type of chickens are you going to have? I have plans to go down to just a few birds. I'd love to have them but I don't have time to keep cleaning up after them, and they eat too much ($$$). I don't need the extra eggs just a few.

One or two Ayam Cemani hens and a couple egg breeds. Really wanting a Maline or two but I'll take whatever local breeds I can get. I like Malines, they're well-adapted to our wet and nasty weather.

One or two Ayam Cemani hens and a couple egg breeds. Really wanting a Maline or two but I'll take whatever local breeds I can get. I like Malines, they're well-adapted to our wet and nasty weather.

A good hearty local bird. That sounds smart. I love my pb nubians but sometimes I envy my friend her mixed breed goats that are hardier.

Aren’t they! Well I can only tell you a part of what the daddy is, his dad was a brown Kiko. His mom is some brush dairy mix. The rest of the does are all mixed brush goats with Boer and who knows what else.
