Fireworks! These people couldn't wait until tomorrow night. Big ones. So, expensive ones. Money! $$$$

Biggest fear here is the lovely 4th. Besides the money factor, it would be much easier to take a couple hundred dollars and burn it in the street than to smoke everyone out with the darn things, the fire danger here is off the chart. Killjoy I know but...

Tomorrow I’ll hear them into the early morning hours. Unfortunately, I don’t actually see them.

We do! We don't have to go anywhere to watch the fireworks. We take some chairs out, and watch our neighbors burn their money. And Pen.....we have already had a fire in the foothills north of us. They are thinking.. fireworks. Our son's place of work had their building fill with smoke. Folks were told to go home..if pregnant, or those that had allergies. Our son stayed, said they got it out pretty quick, but, it came pretty close to a home. Homes, why do they build them so high up into the canyons and foothills? I always wonder. Oh, and Bull, they are supposed to stop lighting fireworks at 11:00 p.m. They did tonight.

Good grief, is this because of all the rain? We really got pounded on this year with the rain too. I don't buy hay though, so haven't noticed.

I haven’t even asked what the price is for anything but straw hay. The last bale I bought and, I don’t buy many, was $12 per bale. Straw hay.

Wish we could ship hay you guys. Apparently, it's abundant here right now. Lots of people advertising it right now. I think I saw round bales for $35?

I’m really surprised the straw bales near the subdivision that I work are still there. They are just weed bales cut off lots to build houses on but still good for chickens and the like.
