Definitely not going 4-piece! May scrap the whole idea, or build what I want

I'm sure I'm not alone but there's some wild weather here. Yesterday was 70F and broke the old record by 4 degrees. Today will be 71 but not a new record. In 2 days, I'll be shoveling snow but in the meantime I'm doing outdoor chores wearing shorts.

The weather is perfect for hanging laundry! I would, but the swamp from all the melting snow might suck me down on the way out!

was 45 degrees this morning when we headed out to do chores, huh thats warmer than our high has been for a while???? what is moving in,??? snowing off and on now supposed to get down to 15 tonight. huhmph I moved a couple of december hatch babies outside over the weekend, they have lots of feathers and were weaned off heat in the house but I still worry. DD is convinced that they are not getting enough to eat, so last night she went out and set on patrol so that the slightly bigger chickens couldn't steal their food... silly girl.
