Very stressful. Especially the coyote. Cat food is absolutely the next thing I'm trying. I forgot to bait it again and I'm not going outside again tonight. I'm probably going to have to resort to using traps for the coyote since I can't stay awake all night and shoot it.
A coyote trap needs to be pretty large. You may want to look into a snare.
After all, they aren't native to Alabama.

That’s pretty much it. Some cats are bigger than the dogs we have. Heck some of my chickens weigh more. The two foot fence was plenty high enough. Now with the new fencing the garden inside has the advantage of not being eaten by the deer as well.
I think it is strange but we have a lot of deer, rabbits and squirrels but I get nearly zero garden damage from them. However, there is a lot of natural food around me.

Spring time everything is green now it’s drying up. Gardens are like smorgasbords to them at this time. I’ve found deer are munchers. Don’t kill the plants but will come back several times to the same plant. Wild plants in the spring that they won’t touch are eaten towards the end of the season when plants they prefer are more scarce.
