@Sally Sunshine I took my turkey's outside in a rabbit cage, so they could get some fresh air and I made my husband stand guard, and almost lost one under his watch. The orange cat pounced on a turkey when it stuck it's head out of the cage, and my husband was polishing his boots and beat the cat with a boot to make him let go. Her throat was pretty mangled, all the feathers were gone - however, there was no blood, and she's eating/drinking.

She was pretty traumatized by the experience.

This is the second time, under his watch, that a chicken or animal has been attacked because he wasn't paying enough attention to his surroundings.

With that said, my stupid rooster sex link chick, got out of it's pen and no cat killed it because it got out with my big rooster.

Maybe I should just throw all my babies out with him
