How goes things in the land down under?

Pretty good. It coming up for bed time soon!!! I think only one egg of mine in bator will hatch. It pipped 3 hours ago and hasn't progressed but i must be patient

I just checked and there are 3 pips. Miraculously the oldest egg is one of them. I expected the 2 week+ eggs to be last.
I heard a peep or 2 yesterday when candling. I guess I got water in there just in time.
I have an incubator warehouse incubation timer sitting below my monitor so I can keep track of when the next eggs are due. Otherwise, I might forget and have an incubator full of chicks before I was ready.

This will be my last hatch till probably December when pullets and molting birds should have been laying a couple months.

By the way, this is a zodiac hatch with timing right in the sweet spot of a waxing moon in Pisces - that's from Wednesday morning to Friday morning.

lol, i would love to have my chickens land on my shoulder. i am trying, * mind the word "trying" * to teach my moms friend's chicken to land on my arm when i hold it out. she did it once!

This dozen eggs I collected over the course of a couple weeks after the OE started laying again after taking a couple months off this summer to molt.
