I don't have goats. Young or old.
Thank you!
you should teach your dog you're the boss.![]()

awwwww sorry he had to go through that.He knows I am the boss. I can reach the food, water and door. Otherwise, he has to be happy or he will get depressed, and go to the bathroom in the house. I don't care what some dog trainers say. An abused dog doesn't forget the abuse. Sturgis was really bad when we got him. He is so much better, but when he acts like I am going to beat him, I know he is still the abused dog he was six years ago.

Doggy therapy and prozac??? (I kid, I kid.)
I've worked with my fair share of abused dogs. These days, I prefer not to have them around kids. so many of them have triggers, especially in big, full sized dogs.
One of my best dogs I ever had though, was a rehabilitated abused rottweiler. The lady would hit him in the face because she had MS and said she couldn't control him otherwise. He would grab any arm/hand that went towards his face for quite a while. It took me about a year, to break him of that, and he ended up being a therapy dog by the time I was done with him. I used to take him to college with me. lol He would carry my school books. ;o
