April 11 Australorp pullets coming on line with an occasional egg, should be in good shape for a late March hatch date, the roosters are ready

Morning captain nice on the pullets starting to lay in winter. Good for eggs at a time when most hens are pulling up shop.

I think it will but, the ladies here are going to leave out the rosemary and put lots of orange in.

Just had to give a chicken a butt-bath.

first pastey butt i've seen so far in all my chickens. I don't know if he was happy with me for putting him under the faucet or not, but at least now he can poop in peace again.

I had to get up to let the puppy out, and check on the ducks. They go through 2 containers of water a day and I had a feeling my husband didn't check/refill before he went to work. LOL he was too busy apologizing to me that he woke up both kids. LOL

I have co-op today, but I'm not feeling good, so I think I may skip it.
