Do any of you have any studying/memorization tips to help a 4th grader memorize things likes dates/vocabulary?

try and use different parts of the brain, hearing, writing, speaking
memorize small chunks and put them together to make big chunks, chunk + chunk + chunk =3chunk+ chunk+chunk+chunk=6chunk (repeat)
one of our pastors went to Julliard (opera) and had to memorize lots, these are some of his
try putting a tune with the information and sing it

Dates in chronological order is the biggest issue. We write them and she says them fine at home and on the test her mind goes blank.

Not being able to perform on tests doesn't mean she doesn't know it. Test anxiety is a real thing.

I agree with Kaj, there is a book by Norman Vincent Peale "Positive Imaging"

I know a guy who failed an important test twice, he only gets three chances, he passed on the third try after reading that book.

Thanks to Fisherlady's husband Radioman, my bathroom sink is fixed. This morning I actually got to wash my hands comfortanbly, rather than having to wash them in cold water. Granted, I have either gotten used to cold hands, or God has kept the water from getting too cold. Maybe both.
Ya know what is really annoying though? I have been dealing with this for about six months. It was like $7 for the part. It took less than five minutes to take the faucet apart, put in the new part, and get it back together. My heart dropped when I turned the water on at the shut off. The water began running out when it should have been off. But that was seemingly because I had not put the handle back on quite right. A little jiggle, and a twist of the screw, and it stopped leaking.
There are two morals. The first I can't say because it sounds bad. The second is that I need to stop worrying about venting to you guys! I might look the fool, but in this case, a problem was fixed!!
