Funny story re. flash cards:
When Dad had his stroke, he lost the ability to speak; along with some mental capacity (cognitive ability ?) He started sessions with a Therapist, who one day was using flash cards. She'd hold up a card, & he was supposed to tell her what was pictured on the card. At one point, she held up a picture of a car

Dad: 57

Therapist: No, try again

Dad, impatiently: 57

Therapist, after checking to make sure of the picture: No, Mr. Whiteside, it's a car

Dad: It's a '57 Chevrolet, dammit!


He was right; the car had been made before the Therapist was even born.

That sounds like how I'd answer some of those questions. Apparently, that makes you fail

DITCH ducks!

I have 4 ducklings! Mama had jumped her nest so I grabbed all the eggs, some part zipped. fingers crossed for them!

We also found a fresh guinea clutch, so I'm going back after dark to try to catch them.

That strawberry blond is the color my husband prefers on me.

Did you know that I was trying to look at something tiny this morning, and I kept having to take my glasses off and on to try to focus on it? Does that mean I need reading glasses?
