It is. and closer to drive to than the other one we were thinking about.

Just listed 3 cockerels on CL
Did that a year ago & gave them away. Now we'll see if anyone's willing to give $5/ea. for them...processing or breeding a mixed flock.
Might as well recoup some feed cost if I can

I never thought to ask a fee for the ones I've listed here locally. They go quick. Took me a while to figure out I could sell them for a few bucks too!

i know people who will ALWAYS take chickens and roosters.... because they eat them... selling them is a different story.
