I didn't candle last night. This morning (~46 hours internally pipped) they look nearly ready. The one on the left has only shadowy veins, and it's breaking more from the membrane. The one in the right still has a few dark veins, but definite progress.
I moved the sixth baby to the brooder. I have a small cereal bowl in there and they all six piled in.
This might be my new favorite thing.
I candled one of the DIS, now that I know what the yolk looks like, and it was ready. Just didn't make it, poor thing.
You don't have a digital countdown timer? I'm surprised at you!
I had to set my alarm to be sure I was up early enough to meet my hunting buddy yesterday. Been so long since I'd had to set an alarm I'm surprised I remembered how.
