Yes while I had mine they were stinky and loud but they were outside in my big brooder barn so it wasn't so bad. WOW SOPHIE!!!! thats Amazing!!!! you go girl!!!
ohhh!!!! Good Luck!!!! sorry about the broody eating one!I had a hen sitting on NN/frizzles eggs 3, she forgot where her nest was they went cold-bad.
I gave her store eggs from a farm 2 hrs away,( 9 ) I called the farmer to askabout the eggs, she said they were un washed, yeah! I asked what kind of eggs they were, she said NN. What were the chances? I went to check in broody, and saw one hen fowled the nest (roosted on nest box I think) and broody ate an egg. I took the eggs away and damp cloth/dryclothed wiped them. I will have to scrape later, but I don't want to stress the egg. I popped them in my incubator
I dashed to the store grabbed another dozen eggs cleaned the nest and gave ma hen 6 eggs, put the rest in incubator. so 20 hopefuls.![]()
