EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Yeeeep! I second the recommendation to check the neighbor. If it's not that, I wonder if you have a virus or other malicious thing hiding on your computer that's doing nefarious things while your back is turned... :caf

Thanks! He's the best looking bird I think I've had on my property - very proud of him! :love

Y'all are making me impatient (mine aren't even in the ground yet, so I suppose I can't expect apples yet.)
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

Well I woke up with a start at 6am (well before the alarm went off - before even Tank, my earliest rooster, "went off"). I was having nightmares about digging holes. Yup, should b a good day. :gig  Going back to sleep was hopeless, so I cleaned in the kitchen for a while - I have dilly beans to put up today, and it's still dark out, so I may as well get started on that...

:hugs You can expect apples. You are just going to be very disappointed! :lau

Howdy, Cap, MC, & all the rest of you earlybirds.
Soon as the sun got up good, I was out turning the birds out & taking pictures of my buddy's 81yr. old canoe I listed on CL for him. Have 2 guys interested; one's supposed to come up tomorrow afternoon.

Found one of the 3 layers dead in the coop. I believe she was Tucker's favorite, judging from the scarcity of feathering on her back. She was on the nest last night, right after I closed up, & even let me pet her, which was unlike her. I knew she wasn't broody, 'cause she didn't mind me touching her. Glad I have half a dozen more due to start laying anytime now.
