Good morning,

!!!!!!
Neighbors are known to clean off a fruit tree on the other side of my property. They wouldn't hesitate to take my apples and peaches closer to them at the back of my property.
But my closest neighbor is a couple of football fields away so that is not a good excuse.

I see, another question for you and all who are in high humidity. Is it even possible to run a dehumidifier inside the house to help with the high levels of humidity?
yes, we had a humid basement in the last house (North Carolina mountains), dehumidifier was the only way to keep mold from growing. we ran the hose to a drain instead of having to empty a bucket. In Missouri a fire in the winter and air conditioner in summer keeps humidity at a reasonable level, Albuquerque, New Mexico my nose bleeds from dry air.

Same here in California. Too dry. We had a leak that the dehumidifier helped with. The new more efficient heaters now dry the air as well. The exhaust for them now are made out of PVC pipe.

The goat pics/gifs are SO cute. I want goats, but don't have the time to take on anything new, so I'm waiting until work slows down a bit. I'll enjoy vicariously here.

I got those photos of the handsome German New Hampshire boys today - they are 7 months old, quiet, docile, and still living quite well with each other, and SO handsome. I love them. I'm planning to cross the GNHs with the Naked Necks - the GNH pullets I have lay VERY poorly so far at 7 months (I don't need lots of eggs, but I'll need eggs to hatch, for heavens' sake!). I think I'll gain egg production as well as naked necks in the cross. Aren't they handsome?! Can't you imagine how good they'd look with naked necks?! (I named them based on their leg band colors)

Boy Blue (Chunky Monkey the Splash Copper Marans in at the edge):

Joe Black (likes to talk to me when I'm doing chores):

Earl Grey (most promising for breeding - I wish I could have caught him full broadside - he's huge!)

Well, I spent most of the day digging to install my mini orchard (I'm planting apple trees that should do well here, varieties with low to very low chill hours: Anna, Ein Shemer, Fuji, Gala, and Yellow Delicious). I was digging... and digging, and digging, and digging. SO TIRED AND SORE, but I'm not done yet - and I have a small huisache tree to remove and dig out as well, so I'll need to start again first thing in the morning. Took some naproxen, not sure whether it's not working or if I'm just so sore that it just took the edge off. (I really need to get into better shape!)

Dinner was chicken and kale with garlic (SO GOOD). I'm winding down, but may pass out in front of the computer - if so, sleep well all, and

for all veggies and chickies!!!
