DE = diatomaceous earth, and it won't kill mites or lice. IMNSHO, it's a huge waste of money! Go back to the store, return what's left of the DE, and get some permethrin powder for the birds.

not to mention that it actually can dry their skin out and give them sores. I learned this the hard way after one of my roosters rolled in DE that I had used on an ant hill....................

Anyone know where I can find seabrights hens in SW Michigan??? My new favorite breed first it was EE's and then silkies, partridge silkies,buff Orpingtons and now seabrights! I think I have an obsessive problem guys....lol
