In regards to Ohio, I'll be ok to drive-I've been doing it one handed for 10 weeks now. just would have been better the other way. It's all good. everything happens for a reason!

No idea- 'member how many bowls & stuffs I had in there to get humidity up? They all have to be filled once per day cause they go dry, even when I am NOT opening the bator at all. :he

I closed of 1/2 of total vents, but it didnt help and it just got that stinky, metallic smell that I'm hoping bator upgrades will help... No more eggs sitting in wet muck!

It's a long road to kink free incubating, but that's what I get for MacGyvering a bator out of questionable parts and a whole lotta duck tape...

I don't plastic over any windows, even ones that blow on the birds, till it gets into the 20s, or is supposed to.

Even then I'll peel it up in the day until it stops going above the 30s in daytime.

Chooks are very hardy!
