lol it happens
though my duck was either eaten or flew south
now i just have the babies, and in the spring will work on making my pond safe for them (and bigger too)

Well that sucks! Would it be feasible to fence around it? That wouldn't eliminate predation, but might discourage it, 'specially with 6k volts on it.

the duck was already injured ( i think a snapper tried to grab him, there was a spot on his leg)
right now its rather overgrown but i am going to try to reclaim most of it

theyre getting bigger
he was still staying across the street, and flying home in the am for breakfast, gimping around
